SPIRIT 2 L TILLER BATTERY OUTBOARD MOTOR

The Spirit 2 L Tiller is a long-shaft, tiller-controlled electric outboard motor with 2 kW power and an impressive 1,539 Wh battery. This motor's power won't run out easily, and for short-term needs, the motor's sport setting offers an impressive 3 kW of power. The motor's total weight with battery, excluding the mounting frame, is only 21.1 kg. This total weight conveniently divides into parts for transport, as the 10.4 kg battery detaches from the motor in a flash for transport and charging. Battery connection and, naturally, detachment are wireless! The battery slides into place at an easy angle, practically gliding, and at an installation angle that truly makes it easy to connect the battery from the boat.

The motor's easy portability is crowned by a one-button release of the motor part, allowing the motor to detach separately from its transom mounting frame for transport. The tiller handle folds into a carrying handle, making it easy and balanced to carry. Upon returning to the boat, you can attach the motor to the transom onto the mounting part already attached by literally dropping it into place. This quick attachment and detachment of the motor makes use truly easy!

The tiller handle has a telescopic adjustment, allowing its length to be increased by up to +13.5 cm. The tiller handle rotates vertically to the desired angle and features an informative LCD color display, which also shows GPS speed. The battery has a 45 Watt USB-C power output, for example, for charging a mobile phone. Finnish "shore to shore" boating is made easier by the shallow water drive position and the motor's impressive 90-degree tilt angle. Especially sailors will appreciate the motor's hydrogeneration up to 1500 W, allowing the battery to be charged while sailing with the motor. The motor's rotation can be locked in the forward thrusting position via the clutch lever. The Spirit 2 outboard motor is available in short-shaft and long-shaft versions, both as tiller-controlled and wheel-controlled versions with remote steering. The Spirit 2 electric outboard motor is thus a suitable boat motor solution for many types of boats.

No more noise, emissions, and mess

Since 2012, ePropulsion has charted the course for how smaller outboard motors should always have been made. Spirit 2 continues this path. An even larger integrated battery outboard motor with high power and battery capacity once again takes the user experience to a new level. The brushless motor and direct drive without gearbox ensure silent operation, smoothness, and structural durability. The 2 kW power easily corresponds to the thrust of approximately a 5-horsepower traditional gasoline outboard motor, making it suitable for traditional Savonian-style rowing boats, as well as, for example, larger load transom boats and sailboats. The included AC charger charges the battery from empty to full in approximately 8 hours. An optional fast charger does the job in 2 hours.
