Features and operating comfort

Decompression combined with an advanced pull-start mechanism ensures that starting the engine requires only a thought and a tiny bit of force, regardless of weather and temperature. Even the smallest members of the family can easily start this engine!

Quietness. Despite the engine's compact and easily portable structure, the low noise level during operation is a new experience for the user with these engines. A feature that truly matters to the user when the engine is running close by.

Vibration-free operation. This must be experienced! Unfortunately, only by comparing can one grasp the reality, but we can proudly say that despite the compact 1-cylinder structure, the concept of vibration level is redefined with this engine. This is ensured by Honda's new, advanced rubber suspension for the engine block.

Economy. The new BF4, BF5, and BF6 are equipped with a convenient 1.5-liter fixed fuel tank, which, considering the fuel efficiency of these engines, needs to be refueled less often than one might imagine.

Appearance. More concrete examples of the features of Honda's new models have been listed above, but the visual essence of these engines should not be overlooked either. These engines are a joy to behold!

Performance. The 127 cm³ 4-stroke engine is torquey and responsive to revs. In addition, a wide selection of propellers guarantees customizability for special needs and heavy boats. Available in both traditional short shaft (15” / 38 cm) and long shaft BF6 engine (20” / 51 cm) lengths.

Reliability. One should not gamble with engine reliability on the water. For this reason, many have chosen Honda before. The new engines also feature an oil pressure warning light and an oil alert system that automatically limits RPMs to 2,300 if oil pressure drops. As usual, the engine comes with Honda's 5-year warranty.
