As a utility boat, it safely transports even larger loads to and from the cottage. When fishing, the boat does not rock when lowering nets or lifting the catch. The boat has lockable storage compartments in both the bow and stern, and a longitudinally adjustable, removable middle seat.

The Terhi 440 is a generously sized rowing boat suitable for a short-shaft outboard motor. Thanks to its wide hull, the Terhi 440 is as stable as a dock and offers top-class carrying capacity. This boat is at its best as a cottage connection boat, safely transporting even larger loads to and from the cottage.

Versatile Comfort

When fishing, the boat remains stable when setting nets or lifting catches. The boat features lockable storage compartments in both the bow and stern, and a longitudinally adjustable middle bench. Oars can be locked under the stern bench.

Despite its width, the Terhi 440 is surprisingly easy to row. Rowing is possible from the middle and bow benches using the pair of oars and oarlocks supplied with the boat. When rowing, the adjustable middle bench and multiple footrests allow for a good rowing position for people of different heights. The middle bench can also be removed and attached to the front middle bench, providing more floor space for transporting goods.

The transom of the Terhi 440 can accommodate an outboard motor of up to 10 hp, but we believe a 4-6 hp motor offers the best performance. The Terhi 440 has a displacement hull, so an engine at the upper end of the recommended power range will practically only improve its cargo carrying capacity. The boat has a separate engine well for added convenience and dedicated storage for oars when motoring.

The space between the vacuum-formed outer shells is filled with water-repellent polyurethane foam, which strengthens the structure and acts as a float. The layered structure dampens sound and makes the boat completely unsinkable. Terhi boats are long-lasting and very easy-to-maintain boats, whose finish is in a class of its own.
