A generously sized rowboat equipped with an outboard motor

Terhi 440 is a generously sized rowboat equipped with a short-shaft outboard motor. Thanks to its wide hull, the Terhi 440 is as stable as a dock and boasts top-class load capacity. This boat is at its best as a cabin commuter boat, safely transporting even larger loads to the cabin and back.

Versatile comfort

For fishing, the boat does not sway when casting nets or lifting catches. The boat has lockable storage spaces at both the bow and stern, and a longitudinally adjustable middle bench. Oars can be locked under the aft bench.

Despite its Width, the Terhi 440 is surprisingly good to row. Rowing is possible from the middle and front benches with the pair of oars and rowlocks supplied with the boat. When rowing the boat, the adjustable middle bench and several footrests enable a good rowing posture for people of different heights. The middle bench can also be removed and attached on top of the front-middle bench, leaving more floor space for transporting goods.

A maximum of 10 hp outboard motor can be attached to the transom of the Terhi 440, but in our opinion, a 4-6 hp motor offers the best performance. The Terhi 440 has a displacement hull, so an engine at the upper end of the recommendation practically only improves load-carrying capacity. The boat has a separate engine well for added comfort and attachment points for oars when motoring.

The space between the vacuum-formed outer shells is filled with water-repellent polyurethane foam, which strengthens the structure and acts as a float. The layered structure dampens sound and makes the boat completely unsinkable. Terhi boats are long-lasting and very easy-to-maintain boats, whose finish is in a class of its own.
