The STIGA Tornado 398 M ride-on mower is designed for those who want to cut grass with a side discharge function or an optional mulching function, which includes a STIGA mulching plug. This ride-on mower has a stylish and modern appearance and is powered by a STIGA engine with a net power of 7.1 kW @ 2800 rpm. The Tornado 398 M features mechanical transmission and a 98 cm cutting deck with two blades and 2 anti-scalp wheels. The cutting height can be adjusted to 7 positions (25–80 mm) with a lever next to the driver's seat, and the blades are activated by a button using an electromagnetic clutch.
The STIGA Ergonomic steering wheel and STIGA Classic adjustable high backrest make driving pleasant. A tow hitch and mulching plug are included in the delivery
