Compared to a conventional guide bar without the Ematic system, the STIHL Ematic system saves up to 50% chain oil, depending on the wood type and saw chain. The system combines the STIHL Ematic or Ematic S guide bar with the STIHL Oilomatic saw chain and oil pump. As a result, the chain oil flowing into the guide bar groove adheres to the rotating saw chain without loss.
STIHL M-Tronic (M) :
The electronic engine management system automatically adjusts the optimal ignition timing and fuel mixture, ensuring the best possible engine power, constant torque, and excellent acceleration. So, when external conditions remain the same, full engine power is continuously available to you after every restart. Thanks to M-Tronic's ability to electronically distinguish between cold and warm starts, the master control lever has only one start position. The system calculates the required amount of fuel for each start. This means you don't have to worry about whether your device has just been used or not – and thus you get full power from your device immediately, even after a long break (cold start). When you switch off the device, the master control lever returns to the operating position, thanks to the stop button (in most M-Tronic models). This allows the engine to start very easily after a short break.
