QuickStop ketjujarru:	The QuickStop chain brake improves user safety when operating the chainsaw. The chain brake engages when the kickback guard is activated and stops the saw chain in a fraction of a second. The QuickStop chain brake is released automatically when the kickback guard is released.
STIHL 2-MIX moottori:	The STIHL 2-MIX engine is powerful and at the same time environmentally friendly. Exhaust gas is separated from unburnt gas, which minimizes scavenging losses, i.e., parts of the mixture that escape unburnt. This increases power and reduces consumption. Operates with two-stroke fuel.
STIHL ElastoStart :	This special elastic damping element ensures jolt-free starting, making starting even easier and smoother.
STIHL Ematic ketjunvoitelujärjestelmä:	Compared to a conventional guide bar without the Ematic system, the STIHL Ematic system saves up to 50% chain oil, depending on the wood type and saw chain. The system combines the STIHL Ematic or Ematic S guide bar with the STIHL Oilomatic saw chain and oil pump. As a result, the chain oil flowing into the guide bar groove adheres to the rotating saw chain without loss.
STIHL M-Tronic (M) :	The electronic engine management system automatically adjusts the optimal ignition timing and fuel mixture, ensuring the best possible engine power, constant torque, and excellent acceleration. So, when external conditions remain the same, full engine power is continuously available to you after every restart. Thanks to M-Tronic's ability to electronically distinguish between cold and warm starts, the master control lever has only one start position. The system calculates the required amount of fuel for each start. This means you don't have to worry about whether your device has just been used or not – and thus you get full power from your device immediately, even after a long break (cold start). When you switch off the device, the master control lever returns to the operating position, thanks to the stop button (in most M-Tronic models). This allows the engine to start very easily after a short break.
Tankkien pikalukituskorkit:	Patented cap system for fuel and oil tanks. The cap is closed with a bayonet fitting, which makes opening and closing the cap very easy, without the need for tools.
Talvi-/kesäasento:	You can rely on the STIHL chainsaw carburetor even in cold weather: Set your chainsaw to winter mode, so that warm air circulates to the carburetor. This prevents ice formation in the carburetor. Simple operation helps in summer and winter use.
