The STIHL AP system supports you in daily gardening, landscaping, and tree care tasks. With AP cordless tools and AP system lithium-ion batteries compatible with the tools, you can handle even demanding tasks. With the four LED lights of the AP batteries, you can always see the current charge status of the battery.

The POWER BOOST function of the STIHL AP 500 S battery, in combination with a suitable STIHL device, enables a temporary peak power of up to 3.5 kW. Thanks to Power Laminate technology, the STIHL AP 500 S battery offers twice the number of charge cycles compared to previous STIHL batteries.

Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth® interface, you can connect the STIHL AP 500 S battery to the STIHL connected service to store, save, and view battery data, such as battery status and number of charge cycles. The service also allows you to adjust the charging speed. Locating and identifying individual batteries are also part of the STIHL connected system. For example, you can see the last known GPS location of an individual AP 500 S battery on your smartphone. If all batteries are within Bluetooth© range, for example outdoors, they will appear in the STIHL connected app. The service also allows you to ensure that all batteries have been properly removed from their devices and stored after the workday.

STIHL AP batteries with a nominal voltage of 36 V can be charged with any compatible STIHL charger.
